Riverview Baptist Day School is an independent outreach of Riverview Baptist Church and a non-profit ministry to the community. The school is established through the religious exemption program of the Virginia Department of Social Services. We offer Preschool from 9 AM to Noon, Monday through Friday for 2 to 4 year-olds; Kindergarten from 9 AM to 2 PM; Our chosen curriculum, A Beka Book, is based on sound Christian principles, with a strong emphasis in reading and phonics. A major goal of our teachers is to be alert to the “teachable moment;” the moments during the child’s day when it is most appropriate to the child to hear the teacher introduce a new concept or ask a leading question. In addition to the school programs we offer full day care for children beginning at 6 weeks. RBDS also offers Before and After care Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Featherstone Elementary School is just a short walk in distance. As a ministry, a loving, safe, and happy learning environment will be provided for your child. We are here and open to serve you.
